The book

What remains
when history unravels?

From humanity’s earliest marks to its final centuries, a witness gathers the record of a world coming apart.

Testimonies, short stories, interludes and recovered records form a chronicle of the Hum: a presence that moves through belief, machinery, flesh and memory.

At its centre is the Encyclopaedist, trying to preserve the voices of those who lived through it. The record is intimate as well as immense: a child held close, a patient behind glass, a hand marking stone.

Manuscript in revision. Publication date to be announced.

The Encyclopaedist

“Every sentence is a thread stretched across the abyss.”

A witness. A custodian. A voice trying to carry other voices beyond their silence.

The Encyclopaedist interpreted as a face emerging from handwritten paper layers
